Our prenatal breastfeeding class is designed to give expecting parents the confidence they need for those exciting, but sometimes challenging, first weeks. From understanding how your body changes to the basics of breastfeeding and pumping, we’ll guide you through what to expect in the early days and beyond.
Your consultation can be tailored to the following needs of mom and baby:
During this consultation, we will start with a comprehensive review of your health history and postpartum journey to better understand your needs. We will perform a physical assessment of your breasts, your baby’s reflexes, oral anatomy & structures. We will then observe a feeding for comfort and efficiency, using pre- and post-feeding weights to track intake and foster a healthy feeding relationship.

To support your pumping journey, we provide hands-on pumping assistance that includes professional flange fitting and techniques to maintain your milk supply. Together, we will create a personalized care plan, filled with practical tips for pumping, storing, and handling your milk, ensuring you feel truly confident and supported every step of the way.

We offer instruction and observation of bottle-feeding to help identify and navigate any challenges you may be facing. Together we will build a customized feeding plan that honors your unique journey and helps you reach your personal goals with confidence.

Travel fees may apply to certain towns and are not reimbursable through insurance. Fees will be collected at the end of the consultation.
